Hi, I'm Innes, a photographer and designer based in Aberdeen. I hold a BA in Photography and a first-class Class Honours degree in Communication Design from Gray’s School of Art, Robert Gordon University.
My work weaves together photography, graphic design, video, and screen printing to tell compelling stories that explore the deep connections between place, memory, and community. I am also proud to serve as the official photographer for the Denis Legacy Trust, capturing moments that celebrate history and heritage.

Along with my Beach Clean Ups and Well Being Projects.  This year, I’ve been focused on the Printfield 10: Denis Law Walking Trail and murals, a public art and heritage project celebrating the life and legacy of football legend Denis Law. As part of this project, I  worked alongside key partners, including the Denis Law Legacy Trust, Blank Walls, Fine Day design studios, Skyform, and Aberdeen City Council.
My practice explores how print and photography can preserve memory and celebrate local identity. Whether designing for print, capturing stories through a lens, or developing community-led projects, I’m passionate about using creativity to make meaningful connections between people and place. I aim to create work that connects people to place through archival imagery, street-level visuals, and hand-crafted prints, turning everyday landmarks into shared stories. My prints, developed for public engagement and sale at EDIT, are both tribute and tool: designed to honour the past and inspire pride in the present.
